Sligo Rovers 'keeper Ciaran Kelly and manager Paul Cook have won the SWAI Player of the Month and Philips' Manager of the Month for November. Kelly recieved his award for a fine performance in goal in the FAI Cup Final, which seen him save all 4 Shamrock Rovers penalties, and of course, Paul Cook recieved his award for guiding the team to such a great achievement.

After recieving his award, Kelly spoke about his famous day in the Aviva Stadium.

"It's still a little bit surreal but that just makes you want to win it again, and win other trophies. It's hard to put into words how much a success like that means to the people in Sligo and also the West of Ireland.

“I could never have dreamed the match would end that way for me and the club, but it's fantastic and the type of thing you dream about all your career."

Ciaran Kelly will be hoping to keep his place in the starting line-up come next season with Richard Brush returning from injury. Brush will be eager to reclaim his place in the team having now missed 3 Cup Finals in the past 12 months.
