Match Preview: Sligo Rovers vs UCD

Sligo Rovers will be taking on UCD on Saturday evening in The Showgrounds.

Joseph Ndo and Gavin Peers are both ruled out with an injury and suspension respectively, but it is hoped both will be available for next weekends encounter with Shamrock Rovers. Derek Foran and Iarfhliath Davoren are doubts after knocks picked up last week.

UCD will be looking to bounce back from a demoralizing 6-1 defeat to Shamrock Rovers last week and will be without Mick Leahy, who like Peers, is also suspended.

The first encounter between the two sides ended in a shock 2-1 win for UCD in the Belfield Bowl. Robbie Benson and Graham Rusk scoring, Matthew Blinkhorn's goal proved to be a mere consolation.
