Match Preview: St. Patricks Athletic vs Sligo Rovers
Sligo Rovers travel to Inchicore tomorrow night aiming to pick up their 4th consecutive victory, but will face a tough test from an in-form St. Pats team.
Paul Cook has a full squad to choose from as he aims to build on this good run of form, and the manager is in an optimistic mood ahead of the match: “All the away games in this league are hard. St Patrick’s Athletic are a very strong team and are very difficult to beat.
“But we’re on a great run and we go there only looking for three points as we do in all games. “We have a lot of players on form now and we look like we’re starting to find our groove now, rather than much later in the season like last year.
“That doesn’t mean we’re going to go out and beat St Patrick’s tomorrow and it doesn’t mean we’re going to lose. But we do have lads playing superbly well and working very hard for the team.”

Pete Mahon's only absentee will be defender and captain Conor Kenna, who is currently suffering from a knee injury. St. Pats have been on good form themselves, currently unbeaten in their last 9 games in all competitions. Their last defeat came in The Showgrounds when former Saints midfielder Alan Kirby struck two brilliant goals in a 2-0 victory.
