The 'Tubbercurry Tornado' was a massive fan favourite in the 8 seasons he spent here, and the announcement earlier today that he had signed will be like music to many peoples ears.
Raff played primarily as a winger for much of his time at Rovers, but Paul Cook saw the goal scoring abilities in him and put him up front for the 2009 season where he made a big impression, scoring 13 league goals, as well as goals in the FAI Cup, EA Sports Cup and Europa League.
His Bohs career never really got going, as he suffered injury setbacks throughout 2010, so we can now only hope the worst is behind him. There was constant speculation he would come back for the 2011 season, and the man himself didn't rule out a return when I interviews him earlier this month, "I would never rule out a return to the Showgrounds as its where my heart lies." he said.
Raff is the 3rd new signing this season, and brings the total number of players signed up to 15, with more expected to be signed very soon.
