Rovers away to Derry in EA Sports Cup Semi-Final

 Sligo Rovers are away once again in the EA Sports Cup as they go to The Brandywell to take on Derry City in the Semi-Final of the competition.

This is will be the fourth meeting between the sides this season, and Rovers have enjoyed a good record against the Candystripes this year, winning two of those games and being held to a draw in the other game in the Brandywell a few weeks ago.

The winner of this match will face either Limerick or Cork City in the Final in September.

The date for this match is scheduled for the 8th August, but is expected to be arranged due to Sligo Rovers Europa League 2nd Leg match.

In other Cup news, it has been confirmed today that Sligo Rovers FAI Cup encounter with Monaghan United will take place on 27th August in The Showgrounds. If a replay is needed, it will be played in Gortakeegan on 31st August.
